If you think about it, the space for online advertisements is like a real estate. Some websites are more expensive to advertise than the others. I am writing a document in which I wanted to use a term for this online space. So, I came up with TEAL-estate. TEAL = TExt Ads onLine.

Auctioning a cheap advertising strategy?
Now and then I go to a bunch of sites like rentacoder.com just to see what type of projects are people interested in (it’s a different story whether getting work done for so cheap is the right strategy to build a successful online business). Today, I noticed one particular project which gave a website asking the developer to do some fix. I went to the website and I didn’t really find anything wrong with the site. Either I missed the point of the project or …
It made me think, if this is a strategy to get a lot of people to get on to your website for cheap! Ofcourse, target audience may not be whom you really want them to be, those who spend for your services, but it does get some traffic and hopefully if the visitors like what they see, they may spread it by WOM. Anyway, thought it’s an interesting idea, or a thought.
